Control groups, or cgroups, are a feature of the linux kernel that allows you to explicitly allocate various resources to sets of tasks. This presentation will focus on their usefulness in embedded systems and their performance implications, and provide a practical example of how they can be used to identify issues in the system, as well as explaining how they can be used to provide benefits to system stability.
